China visa FAQ for applicants in Saudi Arabia

Clear answers to what applicants ask us most.

How much do your services cost?+

The service fee starts from SAR 1,000 and covers file review, form completion, appointment booking and follow-up until collection. Consular fees payable to the authority are added on top and vary with the number of entries and the applicant's nationality.

Is attending in person mandatory?+

Yes — biometrics require you to attend the visa application centre in Riyadh in person for most applicants aged 14 to 70. We handle everything else: preparation, the form, the appointment and follow-up.

How long does a Chinese visa take?+

Standard processing usually takes 4 to 7 working days from submission, and longer for study and work visas. Times are estimates set by the consular authority.

Can I apply as a resident in the Kingdom?+

Yes. Your residency permit must be valid for long enough at submission, and extra documents such as an employer letter may be requested. Send us your details and we'll confirm exactly what's needed.

What are the photo specifications?+

A recent colour photo, 48×33 mm, white background, face fully visible without glasses or anything covering the features, taken within the last six months. We review your photo before submission free of charge.

Do you guarantee the visa?+

No. Granting or refusing a visa is solely the decision of the Chinese consular authority. Our role is to prepare a complete, compliant file to improve the chances and reduce delays.

Can someone else collect the passport for me?+

Yes, provided they bring the original receipt and a signed authorisation letter with ID copies of both the applicant and the authorised person.
